MORE FREE MAGAZINES--With many church buildings closed because of COVID-19, children aren’t able to pick up copies of their favorite Sabbath magazines. Pacific Press Publishing Association has decided to make its weekly children’s publications—Our Little Friend, Primary Treasure, and Guide—available in PDF format on each magazine’s own website for free.
The weekly magazines will continue to appear for as long as the coronavirus threat keeps church buildings closed.
In addition to their regularly hosted games and stories, Primarytreasure.com has the PDF of the weekly periodical for readers ages 6–9 and a PDF of Our Little Friend, the Adventist magazine for children birth to 5 years old.
Primarily for readers ages 10–14, Guidemagazine.org is offering the PDF of the weekly magazine, plus printable games, and vlogs by the editors and columnists such as Rich Aguilera, the “Mud Guy.”
Despite the chaos in our world, God is still in control. We want to continue ministering to our readers’ through the use of technology during these trying times.

NATURAL STRATEGIES FOR COMBATING INFECTIOUS DISEASES
Dr. David DeRose, author of Evading Ebola, presents a powerful presentation called "Natural Strategies for Combating Infectious Diseases" with special focus on the COVID-19 virus. Dr. David DeRose is a lifestyle medicine educator, working at Weimar with the New Start program and now heading up his own ministry called Compass Health Consulting. DeRose says, "Healthy lifestyle is our first line of defense in combating infectious viruses and disease." Discover God-centered ways of strengthening your immune system through this seminar. Self-isolating and washing your hands is only one piece of ammunition. Become fully armed. You can view his presentation on our church Facebook page. It can also be found on the Michigan Conference's Facebook page. For more information, contact Sue Gilmore.
Every day you can now find a devotional on our website called TODAY'S POWER. We will be sharing devotional messages from the "100 Days of Prayer."
The Michigan Conference has reported that all Seventh-day Adventist Churches will remained closed through April 13. If church closings will continue longer, we will contact you via our website, our Facebook page, and by One Call.
LET'S KEEP STUDYING TOGETHER
Let's dig in the Word together. Every day on our website, we have a Bible Study guide to help you study the Sabbath School lesson for this quarter. We are starting a new study on how to interpret the Bible. We'll be calling it "Getting the Message." You'll find it on our page for Adult Sabbath School.
A storm burst upon a fishing boat. That's the way storms always come on the lake--without warning. Heavy winds and huge waves battered the vessel. Its passengers feared for their lives. Although seasoned sailors, they had to struggle to survive. Nothing worked. Not until they thought of Jesus--asleep on a ballast sandbag.
"Master! We perish!" they yelled above the shrieking wind. "Save us!"
Christ never turns down such a request. Didn't they realize what His being on board with them meant? How could they be lost with Him there? But they had no time to think. The storm grabbed their attention, absorbed their energies, and fueled their fear.
"Peace, be still!" That's all it took. The elements obeyed His command. The waves quit and the wind ceased. Water lapped against the hull as it calmly glided across the surface. Peace at last!
As Christ's disciples couldn't quiet the storm on Galilee, so we can't always calm the storms around us. But like the disciples, we need to always remember, CHRIST IS IN THE BOAT WITH US!
Let us remember He is here, depend upon Him, love Him, and trust Him. His presence will make all the difference. Without Him we are lost. But with Him we will have peace even in the midst of the storm. He can still the storm and quiet our fears.
Rather than looking at the storm, let's look at the Savior!
